After winning both the Sixth Grade Spelling Bee and the School Spelling Bee this past fall, Elijah Marrow represented BMS as he competed at the Division Spelling Bee on January 11, 2018. Nicholas Sweet, representing Chase City Elementary School, won the Division Spelling Bee and will represent Mecklenburg County at the State Spelling Bee in Richmond, Virginia in March.
