The Southside Middle School Forensics Competition was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Brunswick High School.  There were eleven schools who participated this year and we are excited to announce that Park View Middle placed second overall in the competition.

The Drama team placed third for their play “I’m Different, So What” written by Angela Dizon. PVM received 2nd place overall in Public Speaking with the following awards:  Alora DeCorte- 1st Place Demonstration, Triniti Davis- 2nd place Prose,  Ja’Asia Crutchfield- 2nd place After Dinner Speaking, Kathryn Richards- 3rd place Original Oratory, and Andrew Ezell- 1st place Extemporaneous Speaking.

Coaches for the teams were Angela Dizon and Russ Fitzgerald.  Special thanks to Yvonne Frost-Williams for judging an event, Mary Tanner, and Mrs. Smith-Brown for help during practices.  Way to go Park View Middle Cougars!
