Grades K-3

  • Differentiated instruction in the regular education classroom.
  • 30-45 minutes of small group instruction provided by the Gifted Resource Teacher.

Grades 4-5

  • Differentiated instruction in the regular education classroom.
  • Participation in a center based program one day each week with the Gifted Resource Teacher.  The focus is on critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Grades 6-8

  • Cluster grouping in core classes.
  • Differentiated instruction in the regular classroom.

High School Programs

  • Dual Enrollment
  • Governor’s School – Interested students can apply in  their sophomore year.  This program offers a rigorous  curriculum and the opportunity to earn an Associate’s Degree.  There is a Humanities strand and a Pre-Engineering strand offered.  Prerequisites for this program include  Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.
