Mecklenburg County Public Schools Information for Parents and Students on Virtual Learning for Next Year (2021-22)

Mecklenburg County Public Schools (MCPS) acknowledges some families may desire their student(s) to learn remotely for the 2021-22 academic year. It is our position that students learn best – and may safely learn – in a face to face school setting with proper precautions in place to mitigate or contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus. At this time, MCPS expects all students to attend school face to face in the fall. An application to attend school virtually is required for those families who desire to have their student(s) to learn virtually this coming fall.

Information for virtual learning for next school year, including the application, is located in this document.
