In this virtual session, staff from the Virginia Deaf-Blind Project will be diving into early communication and how to use your child’s movements, interests, and behaviors to engage in
a meaningful conversation. In this session, we will take a look at how early communication develops, practice communication strategies and discuss what it means for your child. This training is for families with children of any age who are not yet using words, including children with multiple disabilities, complex learning needs, and sensory impairments.
