We are pleased to announce that Mecklenburg County Public School will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the school year 2023-2024.

What does this mean for you and your children attending MCPS? This is great news for you and your students! All students enrolled in Mecklenburg County Public Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge for the 2023-2024 school year.

Parents: No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.

All students in Mecklenburg County will receive free breakfast and lunch for the 2023-2024 school year. 

A la carte items are available for sale, students must  have  monies on account or cash.

  • Encourage the consumption of nutritious foods at a price that is acceptable to the students of our schools.

MySchoolBucks is a website for parents to pay for their child’s school meals using a credit or debit card. With this online service, parents can also view a child’s cafeteria purchases, make payments for their children even if they attend different schools, and set up automatic email reminders to be notified when a payment is needed.
