Jordyn T. Jackson has been selected as April Student of the Month for 7th grade. Jordyn demonstrates the qualities for this special honor. She strives for excellence in all that she does. She is very conscientious with her academic studies and always does the task put before her thoroughly and to the very best of her ability. Jordyn sets very high standards for herself. She has made the honor roll every term this year. Her favorite subject is math. She says she finds it very easy. Her least favorite subject is history because she has to learn a lot of facts, but she understands the importance of knowing history. She is a member of the Beta Club. Last year during the holidays, Jordyn helped collect and package food for people in need. This gave her a great sense of pride because she was able to help others.

When Jordyn is not in school, she enjoys playing softball and basketball. She is on the PVM basketball and softball team. She plays center on the basketball team and on the softball team she plays first base, third base and pitcher! Jordyn also plays travel ball in the summer time. She is the pitcher for that league as well. In 2017, she was chosen as MVP! Here again, she demonstrates her strive for excellence in all that she does.

Jordyn has lots of friends at school. She says her biggest challenge is making new friends because she is an introvert. However, once she gets to know a person, she generally forms a friendship with them. Playing sports has helped her with that challenge. She enjoys meeting new people and making friends. When asked what comes easy to her, she replied softball. She loves that sport.

Jordyn is a joy to work with each day. She loves school! She rarely misses a day unless it is an excused absence. The aforementioned qualities demonstrates that Jordyn T. Jackson will represent PVM well as Student of the Month in April.
