We’re excited about the new year and are looking forward to our upcoming Back to School Night at Bluestone High School on September 1st  from  12:00 Noon until 6:00 P. M.! We have a couple of reminders for that evening to help keep us all safe.
Mecklenburg County is currently experiencing high community transmission rates of the COVID-19 virus. We want to remind everyone that the FDA has officially approved the Pfizer vaccine for regular use. We encourage everyone age 12 or older to get vaccinated to help end this disease.
We also understand our two best tools to prevent the spread of the disease are properly wearing an appropriate face covering and social distancing, as possible. With students and parents in attendance at Back to School Night, we anticipate large numbers of people in our schools that evening. As a reminder, everyone inside our schools at Back-to-School Night must wear a face mask at all times – covering both nose and mouth, please.
Finally, to help us reduce overcrowding in spaces and keep our distance, we’re also asking that only one adult accompany their student(s) to back to school night this year.
Thank you for your understanding.
